What others say
Time spent at Ruach Retreat is never really predictable but always inspiring, fruitful and very special.
Zoya and David cater for your every need from the moment you step over the threshold. Everything is in order to make the stay as beneficial as possible - nothing is too much trouble.
My day opened up opportunities for reading, praying, and talking
- and what the place specialises in - allowing you ‘to be’, to be still and
recognise the presence of God.
The comfort of the amazing cottage, the stunning garden, the
location and the wonderful, wholesome food all combine to make any stay an
absolute delight.
Suffice it to stay, I always feel a different
person driving away from Ruach Retreat to the one who arrived.

A gift of space to rest.
Christine (The Wirral)
Peace enfolded me as I walked through the front door.
It has been so good to let go of the ‘busyness’ and ‘challenges of life’.
David and Zoya gave me the freedom to be, cooked tasty meals,
listened to me and prayed with me – wonderful.
An oasis of peace

Thank you . . . for your welcome, caring and generous hospitality and meaningful input.
What an amazing location.
I was in need of the opportunity to experience the sense of calm and quiet reflection
that is so hard to find in our busy world and the day certainly did not disappoint.
Pat (Hawarden)
God seemed very present.
Jane (Dodleston)
What a wonderful ‘place to be’.

The group was refreshed both spiritually and physically
as David guided us through two meditations based on psalms.

My time away at Ruach Retreat … helped me to face the future with more confidence and hope. I had a unique and extraordinary experience filled with love and kindness.
The cottage is lovely, the living areas attractive and comfortable and the bedrooms homely.
The garden, which is packed with a wide assortment of plants, is a worthwhile adventure!
I have recommended Ruach Retreat to several friends and I can’t wait to go back!
