CHRISTMAS IS COMING – BE STILL

GREAT EXPECTATIONS

 

As Christmas approaches, it seems there are more and more plates to spin.

Keeping them spinning can pull us in different and conflicting directions.

 

Christmas can be a joyful time but so often it is also one of the most stressful.

 

So, how about reflecting on the meaning of Christmas for a few hours?

Maybe this will help you to prepare to celebrate in a different way from usual

and catch a fresh glimpse of God born among us.

 

There are two aspects to Advent at Ruach Retreat.

 

RETREAT DAY

PREPARING FOR ADVENT

Saturday 30^th November

The day will start at 10.00am with refreshments. Lunch will be at 12.30pm

and further refreshment before departing at 4.00pm.

Donations welcome.

 

During the day Zoya or David will lead a couple of short sessions

and then there will be time for you to read, walk, do some craft - or just sit and ‘be’.

 

ADVENT MEDITATIONS

These will be held on Monday evenings - 2^nd, 9^th and 16^th December.

Each evening will start at 7.00pm and include prayer, readings, sharing

and refreshment before finishing at 9.00pm.

 

The retreat day and each of the meditations will stand alone

– come when you can.

Winter is a beautiful time at Ruach Retreat.  Retreatants can feel snug and secure, whilst it is snowing outside.
